Grenada launched a citizenship program in August 2013.
During the program’s operation, almost 11 thousand people have received passports.
To obtain a passport, program participants must invest:

Financial Requirements
First of all, citizenship is issued by the main applicant, and then by relatives.
An irrevocable investment
One-time fee: $235,000
One investor and a family of up to four people contribute $235,000 to the National Transformation Fund. The money is used to develop the economy, renewable energy sources, agriculture and support tourism.
Each additional applicant will raise the total investment amount.
A returnable investment
Purchase of real estate: $270,000/ $350,000
You can only invest in objects from the list approved by the government.
The investment amount does not depend on the composition of the family and amounts to $270,000 for a share in joint investments in an approved tourism project and $350,000 for other approved facilities. Additionally, the investor pays a state fee, the amount of which depends on the composition of the family. After 5 minutes, the property can be sold and the money invested can be returned.
Provision of services:

Preliminary check. The Albatross manager checks the investor for compliance with the conditions of the citizenship program. He is looking for facts in his personal or business biography that may prevent him from obtaining a passport.
The verification takes one day and is completely confidential. The investor provides only a copy of the passport. -
Preparation of the documents:
- all valid passports;
- passport-size photos;
- birth certificates of the participants;
- marriage or divorce certificate;
- confirmation of the legality of income;
- military identification card;
- Criminal Record Certificate
- confirmation of the residential address;
- bank statement for the last year;
- letter from the bank;
- medical reference.

DUE DILIGENCE check. The prepared documents are sent to the Bank of Grenada for verification. When it is completed, the lawyers prepare the investor’s application for submission to the Citizenship program department.

Applying for citizenship. The Citizenship Program Department reviews the documents of the investor and his family members. At this stage, the investor pays for Due Diligence checks and pays government fees. At the end of the verification, the investor undergoes an online interview.

Fulfillment of the investment condition. The Program Department sends an official letter of approval for the application. After that, the investor deposits money into the state fund or the developer for the property. They give 30 days to fulfill the investment condition.

Receipt of documents. Passports are produced within four weeks. The validity period of a Grenada passport is five years. Then the document needs to be extended.: This can also be done remotely.
