Application Process

Such a check helps to identify potential problems and find a solution in advance, for example, to attach additional documents to the application.

  • Submitting an application.

Albatross lawyers help prepare the necessary documentation, which usually includes

    • Passport
    • Birth certificate
    • Medical reference
    • a certificate of criminal record.

The documents are translated into English and the copies are notarized. Then they fill out the government forms.
At this stage, the investor pays a Due Diligence fee. –
    7,500 $.
Lawyers send the investor’s documents to the Citizenship by Investment Department (CBIU).

  • Fulfillment of the investment condition. After reviewing the CBIU’s application, a Due Diligence check will be conducted.
If the application is approved, the investor will receive a confirmation letter from the CBIU. At this stage, the investor transfers a contribution to the fund or to real estate.

  • Approval of citizenship. After verifying the investment, the CBIU sends the applicant a naturalization certificate confirming the citizenship of Dominica.

  • Getting a passport Based on the naturalization certificate, the investor submits an application for a Dominica passport. Its production and delivery takes a couple of weeks.
