Proof of income must be submitted with supporting documents:

 

  • Employees: salary statements and bank account statements.
  • Freelancers: bank statements and client contracts.
  • Business owners: company account statements and proof of ownership.

All documents must be translated into Italian by a certified translator

Application Process

Applying for the Digital Nomad Visa involves several steps:

  • Preparation of the documents:

    • Valid passport
    • Proof of income (salary slips, bank statements, contracts)
    • Employment contract or client agreements
    • Criminal record certificate
    • Proof of accommodation in Italy
    • Health insurance (coverage of at least €30,000)
    • Flight ticket reservations
    • Motivation letter
    • Passport-sized photos (35 × 45 mm)
  • Submit the application:

    • Book an appointment at the Italian consulate or visa center.
    • Submit documents and pay the visa fee.
